I have low vision from macular degeneration and had to stop reading my favorite passion. And then along came speechify that my daughter told me about. I love it, I tried listening to audiobooks but it just wasn't the same Don't get me wrong audio books are great but this is audiobook plus the written word. My eyes do skip a lot of words but I follow along as I'm listening and it's like I've got a book in my hand and I can read again. Thanks to speechify I can read all my books again. And thanks to Robin who helped me with my email address which with my eyes I had put an incorrect email address in and she was very nice and got me all back on track.
I downloaded speechify to try it out, as i’m legally blind and unable to read physical text anymore. it was incredible as soon as i downloaded it, i was able to “read” a postcard from a friend!! the voices are nice, and it’s easy to use. i was interested in the premium version so i emailed asking if they had any sort of program or discount for blink people, and Michael responded offering me a 50% discount on my first year after a 7 day free trial. i’m so appreciative of that and how kind he was, as well as professional and prompt! thank you so much speechify and michael, i’m very excited to use speechify more!
App charged too much and wasn’t clear of the free trial fees. I will not be continuing with them but the reading itself is great. I did contact their support team and Christian helped so much as they refunded part of my bill snd was fast to respond! Very helpful
LOVO AI User Reviews:
Lovo is a great tool to turn text into sound. Well there are many apps like that, but this is the FIRST one that has almost perfect sound without robotic feeling. This app opened so much possibility, and saves time and money by not having to use third party services for turning text to sound. The user interface is great, lots of voice options, but unfortunately not all of the voices have deep editing capabilities like (pause, emphesize and etc). Some languages like Ukrainian have limited amount of voices. Otherwise, a great cool app, and processing of voice is fast too, only a few seconds.
Lovo Studio is a great upcoming TTS system that has large variety of voices that sound unrealistic. The UI is simple to use but could be made a bit more interesting and some of the voices are not as convincing as others. I am looking forward to seeing this software grow and improve on the quality of the voices.
This TTS service is not stable and you could lose all your work in seconds as there are issues with saves or even conversion. You can't expect having an answer from them even with the supposed customer service. Website has very few informations about the company behind making me feel like I have being scammed to be an early adopter. For a service used only 2 times before facing issues, LOVO is definitely not worth it and a total waste of time and money.
